"The Tinsmith"
Tavern? Brothel? Hot bed (pun intended) of sedition?
Situated in the bustle of San Marco sestiere, the 'establishment' has become a fixture of Malin and Bourchier's meetings.
Calle Stagnieri is pretty narrow, and currently features The Devil's Forest, which claims to be the oldest pub in Venice. It is this place that inspired The Tinsmith, which I situated on the opposite (east) side of the street, over at No. 5229.
Note the conviction with which the eatery on the site of The Tinsmith declares that no, absolutely not, they will not be serving pizza. To even ask would be to identify you as the most lowly of creatures, and attract the most venomous derision.
Erm, I'll just have a cappuccino then, please.
