On the last full day of the novel, we follow Caitlin and Martin to the base of THE CLISHAM, and then it's Caitlin's turn to climb Toe Hill.

While we were up there on our own visit to the summit, we staged a couple of photos in honour of her climb, complete with champagne. We each took a turn to toast Martin while looking across the open bay to The Clisham, the highest hill on the horizon.

On our return to the beach, we also played out Caitlin's final act during her stay on the island....
